Élément central de la gamme Black Series d’Ayon Audio, le BlackFalcon est l’évolution moderne de la légendaire série ceramic Ayon (Seagull, Hawk, Falcon, Eagle) produite entre 2003 et 2010, désormais bénéficiant de la nouvelle technologie ceramic chassis et d’innovations cumulées sur une décennie de R&D. Selon Ayon Audio : « The BlackFalcon is the consistent advancement of the legendary former Ayon ceramic loudspeaker series (Seagull, Hawk, Falcon, and Eagle) anno 2003 – 2010. Only 9 years later with the new ceramic chassis technology we could develop further the loudspeaker decisively mounting ceramic chassis. Implementing specially produced special impedance bass-chassis-coils we could draw the impedance up and design the acoustic 6dB-cross-over much simpler. Also, the improved ‘almost not damped’ the elliptical Ayon instrument plywood cabinet (with its unequaled, all-around radiating characteristics – by means of the elongated elliptical front plate) allows the sound to be carried far into the room and is quasi ‘surround sound.’ This further contributes to the very easy operation of amplifiers. In particular, the lovers of low-powered solid-state and tube amplifiers could hardly avoid this loudspeaker. The speaker is additionally equipped with a special transistor-tube crossover network circuit, which is probably unique until today. » Architecture 3-way avec Airflow Damping System (ADS), drivers : 1 × 1″ Cell-Ceramic Tweeter + 1 × 6.2″ Ceramic Midrange + 3 × 6.7″ Ceramic Woofers.
